Merit Quota Details:

For 11th-grade admissions, 93% of the total available seats will be considered under the merit quota. These seats will be open to everyone. The remaining 7% will be divided as follows: 5% will be reserved for the children of freedom fighters, as in previous years. The remaining 2% will be split equally, with 1% allocated for the Ministry of Education and 1% for the children of officials and employees working under the ministry and its affiliated offices/agencies. As before, if there are no students to fill these reserved seats, they will be considered under the merit quota. If the number of applicants for the quota seats exceeds the available seats, a merit-based list will be created.

Eligibility for Admission and Group Selection:

Students who have passed the SSC or equivalent examinations under any education board in the country or the Bangladesh Open University in the last three years will be considered eligible for online admission to any college or equivalent institution, subject to other provisions of the policy. Additionally, students who passed in previous years, including those from the Open University, can apply manually to the board for admission.

Students who have passed equivalent examinations from any foreign board or similar institution will be considered eligible for admission after the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board evaluates and recognizes their certificates.
