One of the largest telecom service providers in the country Is looking for a skilled professional to fill the position of Vice President. Brand and Acquisition. Airtel Business Unit under the division/department of Market Operation.

Key Accountability:

  • Identify the new segments for acquisition and therefore plan & Implement the strategy to penetrate the same
  • Conduct consumer & trade research with help of research and trade marketing team on periodic basis to identify new opportunities for acquisition
  • Conceptualize & rollout suitable products & plans in prepaid/postpaid/PCO to drive acquisitions & revenue
  • Facilitate sales team to achieve the desired REC net adds target through conceptualizing & Implementing suitable sales incentive programs
  • Identify the key strengths of competition & plan &. action key tactics to get Incremental share of net adds from competition
  • Direct the creation of the strategic road map for the Products & Services portfolio to maximize current and potential market opportunities and own it with overall responsibility for quality and effectiveness.
  • Lead and ensure the significant revenue growth through devising competitive strategies of Voice, Data & Devices to keep pace with rapid business changing scenario
  • Conduct research on different technological happenings and initiate suitable customization to add value to overall Voice, Data & Devices Product pool, ensuring company’s & business partners’ sustainable business growth with high positive ROI
  • Strategize the 3G, Data & Messaging Portfolio of Rabi to ensure significant revenue growth
  • Oversee the overall 3G services to customers by working on branding, product marketing, customer engagement, campaign management and sales enablement
  • Develop and manage brand guidelines and ensure positioning to protect and align overall Image of the company with company and general market/segment strategies
  • Develop, execute and monitor overall media strategy, ensuring cost-effective and efficient media mix, planned and executed within stipulated brand/product budget
  • Consistently scan for innovations in marketing communication themes, channels and media to drive company goals
  • Build an externally distinctive, internally synergized and strong brand footprint across all target segments/ external communication channels
  • Develop new Ideas to generate new activations/revenue/awareness through Innovative use of existing media, programs and partners
  • Building mutually beneficial and sustainable eco-system with creative and communication partners

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Graduation degree from any reputed university
  • Impeccable analytical and creative problem solving skills with strong project management skills. Preferred with media planning knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to present concepts dearly and accurately and to keep others informed and up-to-date. Listens & probes effectively
  • Ability to work individually or with a team with the capacity to multitask and to balance competing priorities
  • Professional experience ls required for minimum 12 years, of which 5-6 years as a team leader. Candidate must have relevant experience in telecommunication Industry for at least 7 years

(Preferably, demonstrated experience In the development and execution of successful marketing programs, as well as demonstrated customer marketing acumen In the areas of prospecting, customer segmentation, media planning and agency handling)
