The Prize Bond is a kind of savings of Bangladesh Bank. It is an interest-free bond. Prize Bond Lottery Draw is held on every three months interval. The Prize Bond Lottery Draw is usually held on January 31, April 30, July 31, October 31 of every year. Prize Bond Lottery Draw held at the same way all the time. Tk 100 prize bond is divided in different series. There are a total 39 series and each series has same prizes. That’s means each series has 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th prizes. In order that a bond is to be included in the draw, it must be purchased before two months of the draw date. A number of Prize Bond is every series 10 lachs. The claims for prizes can be lodged within two years after a draw. 20% tax will be deducted from prize bond prize money.
